Analysis and comparation of two E-commerce website

 

On this post I am going to evaluate two E-commerce website and point out what differs these website based on some aspects that make it practical and useful. Currently, there are a lot of websites with commercial purpose destined to sell and provide services, Some of these commerce websites like Amazon and eBay, are world-renowned while others such as closure London or Boohoo, are used by a small group

Currently amazon is a E-commerce store that sells millions of products as clothing, shoes, jewelry,Tools, home improvement, home and kitchen, however amazon is known for providing services such as world-class entertainment through Amazon Originals, Prime Video, Audible, Twitch and Amazon Music. Closure Closure London is a small online store for the sale of clothing and jewelry for adults

How many page does the website have?

There was a significant difference with respect to the quantity of the two pages analyzed.

Does the website have social media linked to it?

After analyzing these pages carefully I realize that the two pages are linked to some social media. The Amazon as linked to facebook, Twitter also Pinterest, and closure is linked to Instagram and TikTok.

Is there an email, phone number or message link?

Apparently amazon does not make available any email account, phone number or chant link, for customers, apparently on the contrary closure displays on their page the email address as well as the day and now that they are open.

Does it have a buy it now option?

The buy now option is one of the ways to influence people to buy with just one click, in case amazon has this function for some and Closure have this option for all their products.

Does it have different currency options?

The Closure London has currency options available on the website, in another hand amazon does not display this option on the webpage, but in case the buyer wants to make a payment in currency, the conversion might done automatically depending on the payment method chosen, making some payment methods simpler such as Visa card or Paypal automatically convert.

Are the web page interlinked?

Yes, both pages are linked to some products that allow us to open other pages by clicking on the buttons or options.

How many tabs are there in the navigation menu.

Amazon has more than ten tabs in its navigation bar, on the other hand closure has only seven.

Where does the website appear on the organic search on website.

When we google search for amazon the search engine displays amazon shopping at the top of the list as the first option, Surprisingly even though Closure is not as popular as amazon it is also at the top of the list of results presented by google when we searched about the store.

Is the web site easy to navigate?

During my evaluation I could see that there is a similar grid in the layout of the two pages, the amazon part is more complex with more content as well as more options while the closure seems to be less complex, with easy accessibility. In my opinion, Closure is more easy to use, since it is a store intended for the sale of clothing and jewelry only.

Is the website user friendly?

Yes, since the purpose of these webpages is to sell products online, both pages appear to be friendly, providing visitors with an easy navigation as well as different forms of payment, delivery, ways to cancel the order in case the buyer changes his mind, among other options.

The websites do not present academic English but the writing seems to be correct, and to be honest, easy to understand regardless of age or school level.

The two web pages work well with different browsers, another fact is that due to its popularity amazon is displayed on the homepage in the most of these search engines.

These pages are focused on marketing and are always being updated, with new products and services.

Does the website have clear content? Does the website have large, good quality images?

Both sites have clear content, with good image quality and considerable size, allowing you to evaluate every detail of the products
